Friendly reminder: Legs & Feet are the highest score on the judges card, when setting up your goat please try to get the best picture showing feet and legs as straight as possible.
Entry E places over Entry F in General Appearance. Entry E has straighter fore legs and toes pointing forward, straighter rear legs when viewed from the back and he has more angulation when viewed from the side. Entry E has smooth blending of his topline where his neck meets the withers, in Dairy Character he shows clear dairy wedges from the top and side and in Body Capacity he shows increasing depth from heart girth to flank.
Entry C over Entry F in General Appearance. Entry C shows stronger pasterns, straighter rear legs with good width between the hocks, more extension to his brisket, more desirable slope to his rump and when viewed from the back and above he shows more width in his hips to pin bones.
Entry F over Entry A in General Appearance. Entry F is wider in the chest floor, has more height in the escutcheon area, his shoulder blends smoother into his chest wall when viewed from the top which provides a better dairy wedge in Dairy Character. Entry F does grant stronger rear pasterns to Entry A.
Entry A over Entry D in General Appearance. Entry A has more width in his chest floor and he shows higher withers in his topline with a more ideal slope to his rump. In Body Capacity he shows increasing depth from heart girth to flank.
Entry D over Entry B in General Appearance Entry D shows straighter fore legs with closer toes pointing forward, a higher escutcheon area, more level in his topline with smoother blending from loin into rump and in Body Capacity longer in body from withers to hips.
Entry B although standing last in this class is to be commended for his General Appearance showing sharp withers, good angulation of rear legs when viewed from the side and a nice long lean neck.

The 1st place buck has the strongest topline with the advantage in smoothness of blending throughout. He is more capacious in the rear barrel than the buck in 2nd.
The 2nd place buck follows closely behind the 1st place animal. He is stronger in profile and type over the buck behind him. He will yield a slight advantage in width of rump to the buck standing in 3rd.
The 3rd place buck has a beautiful set of feet and legs. He has the advantage in capacity, just overall being wider and deeper throughout.
The 4th place buck has the advantage over 5 in his straightness of topline and sharpness to the withers. I'd like to see a bit more spring to the rib to place him higher today.
The 5th place buck has the advantage over 6 in flatness and slight width of rump as well as testicular size and shape.
The 6th place buck is to be commended for his body capacity and sharpness of withers.

Entry A although a single entry in this class shows good General Appearance with good width between his fore legs and between his hocks, for his topline he is high at the withers and blends smoothly from his loin into the rump. In Dairy Character he shows clear dairy wedges when viewed from above and the side.
A single entry we commend on his levelness throughout his topline.

I placed this class of Bucks 3 to 4 years of age as:

Entry A places over Entry B in General Appearance. Entry A shows straighter fore legs with closer toes pointing forward, he has good width between the hocks and a high round escutcheon area, and in Body Capacity he is deeper in the heart girth and barrel. Entry A does grant to Entry B a smoother flatter blending of the shoulder into the chest wall.
Entry B over Entry C in General Appearance Entry B has more width between his fore legs and hocks in the rear, sharper withers in his topline and when viewed from the top has smoother blending of the shoulder into the chest wall which lends to Dairy Character showing a clear dairy wedge when viewed from the top.
Entry C although standing last in this class is to be commended for his General Appearance showing straight fore legs, a level topline in the loin and chine with a higher wither and in Body Capacity good depth to the heart girth and barrel.

The 1st place buck is very bold in his type, having the advantage to his rib shape, chine depth and width, as well as his overall body capacity.
The 2nd place buck excels over 3 in body length and width of rump. He has a beautiful side profile.
The 3rd place buck is to be commended on his depth of rear barrel.

Although Entry A is a single entry in this class in General Appearance he has a nice uphilll topline, a nice extension to his brisket which moves into his Body Capacity with a deep chest and increases into his flank.

A single entry presented in the aged bucks class. Well deserving of a blue ribbon! A buck that is presenting very bold and "showy" through that front quarter of his body. A dairy type buck, yet he remains masculine around the edges. He has held up very well for a 5 year old working buck.
