The 1st place buck shows an advantage in smoothness of blending throughout. He is very strong and level in the topline. He has more substance and capacity of body being slightly deeper through the chine and rear barrel.
The kid standing in 2nd appears to be the youngest at the time of photographing. He has the advantage of smoothness of blending from his neck into his withers. He will yield slightly to the buck behind him in depth of chine.
The kid standing in 3rd place today is to be commended for his width and flatness of rump today. I would like to see him presenting a sharper front end in his stance, being higher about that wither to move ahead in the class.
